A one-step solution for visual detection of virus outside of the lab. You can do detection of SARS-CoV-2 without the need for expensive analysis instruments! Only pipette, heat block and a small centrifuge is required.

This colorimetric LAMP kit from New England BioLabs (NEB) is designed to give a simple one-step solution for visual detection of virus outside of the lab and without the need for advanced testing infrastructure.

Positive or negative results are indicated by a shift in color where negative reactions remains pink, while the positive ones turns yellow. The system is designed to enable a quick, visual detection of amplification in the sample based on the production of protons and a consequent drop in pH value as a consequence of DNA polymerase activity in a LAMP reaction. This will in turn cause a color shift in the pH indicator in the solution.

SARS-CoV-2 Spike S1-RBD IgG&IgM ELISA Detection Kit
SARS-CoV-2 Spike S1-RBD IgG&IgM ELISA Detection Kit is an indirect ELISA detection tool which can be used for evaluation of IgG or IgM against SARS-CoV-2 Spike S1-RBD in samples. When the positive control and specimen are added to capture plate, which has been pre-coated with recombinant SARS-CoV-2 spike protein S1-RBD, the positive control and SARS-CoV-2 spike protein S1-RBD antibodies in specimen can be captured on the plate. Other unbound molecules are removed by the washing steps. Then, HRP conjugated mouse anti-human IgG Fc or HRP conjugated mouse anti-human IgM is added to the plate. After washing steps, TMB solution is added and the color turns blue. The reaction will be stopped by adding stop solution and the color turns yellow which can be read at 450 nm by a microtiter plate reader. Antibodies relevant for SARS-CoV-2 research

In order to quickly defeat SARS-CoV-2 (severe acute respiratory syndrome-coronavirus-2, previously named as nCoV) and stop the epidemic, diagnosis and treatment are especially important. As of January 31, 2020, SARS-CoV-2 nucleic acid detection kits from 7 companies have been approved for SARS-CoV-2 detection (data source: NMPA). Meanwhile, researchers are still working hard to develop effective treatments.

It has been reported that because the spike protein on SARS-CoV-2 is similar in spatial structure to that of SARS virus, it is presumed that it may also enter the host cell by binding to the human cell surface receptor ACE2, while MERS-CoV enters the host cell using DPP4. ACE2 is a protein that balances ACE/AngII bioactivity in the renin-angiotensin signaling pathway. Inhibition of this pathway can reduce the effect of SARS, which also utilizes ACE2, and in experiments with mice it reduced lung injury caused by the SARS-S protein.

However, more studies are needed to confirm whether ACE2 is the sole avenue for SARS-CoV-2 to enter a host cell. After SARS-CoV-2 enters a cell through ACE2 and undergoes endocytosis, cathepsin then degrades the spike protein (S protein) to release the nucleic acids of the virus. Some evidence shows that cathepsin B/L inhibitor can block this process. This study also showed that SARS-CoV-2 can be directly cleaved by the transmembrane protein TMPRSS2, and viral entry into the cell was blocked by using a TMPRSS2 antagonist.

In the retrospective study on the clinical imaging features of COVID-19, CT scans showed fibrotic lesions in stages such as disease progression, severe disease, and remission.
