With Lonza’s MycoAlert Mycoplasma Detection kits, you can check for mycoplasma contamination in just 20 minutes. The bioluminescence assay identifies mycoplasmal enzyme activity unique to mycoplasma species, without interference from eukaryotic cells. A small sample of the cell culture media is used with a straightforward two-step protocol (see overview).
