Plate washers
The Biosan microplate washers are designed for washing most types of standard 96-well microtitre plates and microstrips. The washers can store dozens of user-defined programs and have the possibility to run multi-step cycles with repeated washing (aspiration and dispensing) and incubation/soaking steps. The washers feature an 8-channel head and up to 3 different washing/rinsing solutions – an optional 4-channel logger unit monitors liquid levels for all three washing bottles as well as a waste bottle, providing notifications when liquid levels run low or waste level is high.
Two different models are available: The IW-8 Intelispeed and 3D-IW8 Inteliwasher. Both washers share a number of features:

IW8 Inteliwasher

The standard model, the IW8 Inteliwasher allows washing of flat-bottom microtitre plates and microstrips using single point aspiration. The unit can store up to 100 user-defined programs.
3D-IW8 Inteliwasher

The upgraded 3D-IW8 expands on the standard features by allowing washing of different well shapes (flat bottom, U-bottom and V-bottom), in addition to microarrays on FastFRAME. Aspiration can be done as single point, two-point or circular. The unit can store up to 50 user-defined programs.
4 CHW Logger

The Logger connects to both models of plate washer and provides automatic monitoring of liquid levels for up to three washing solution bottles and one waste bottle. Remaining volume for each bottle is displayed as a percentage, and a warning message is displayed when levels run low or the waste bottle is full.
