MEDIACLAVE media sterilizer
- Excellent safety: MEDIACLAVE is equipped with systems for monitoring pressure and temperature, ensuring high safety for both the operator and working environment
- Fast heating: Powerful heating elements reduce thermal stress by shortening total exposure time, thus ensuring high quality of the media. Control of pressure, temperature, and ventilation guarantees saturated steam in the vessel
- Fast cooling: An efficient heat exchanger ensures rapid cooling in the media vessel. The cooling water circulates in a separate loop around the vessel to avoid contamination
- Reliable sterilization: The vessel contains a strong magnetic stirrer with adjustable speed and reversible mixing direction, ensuring homogeneous media even at high viscosity. An integrated Pt-1000 temperature sensor ensures complete sterilization and reproducibility
- Easy to clean: A fully enclosed heating element ensures a smooth and easy to clean pressure chamber, while a separate cleaning program can used to flush the internals
- Low maintenance: High build quality means no parts or filters need changing between each annual periodic maintenance service
- Complete documentation: Full process documentation available for quality control and certification purposes, via integrated printer and FDA (21 CFR Part 11) / EU (GMP Annex 11) compliant electronic log files
MEDIACLAVE is available in two sizes: MEDIACLAVE 10 (for production of 1-10L) and MEDIACLAVE 30 (for production of 3-30L).

- Contamination control: A clean environment is crucial for consistent quality of agar plates. The MEDIAJET is easy to clean and features bactericidal UV lighting in the covered filling area
- Versatility: The MEDIAJET can be easily adapted for petri dishes from different suppliers, and can handle Petri dishes of nominal diameters including 35 mm, 60 mm and 90 mm
- Integrated documentation: Process documentation can be printed or electronically exported from the MEDIAJET, or the instrument may be connected to a MEDIACLAVE for full integration of process data
- Tube filling: With the TUBEFILLER accessory, the MEDIAJET is easily converted to fill agar media, broth and solutions into a wide range of test tube sizes
- Dish imprinting: Support of selected Petri dish inkjet printers from Markem-Imaje, Linx and Domino with dedicated connection kits
MEDIAJET is available in three variants:
- MEDIAJET Standard, suitable for most Ø90mm Petri dishes
- MEDIAJET Vario, which accepts adapters for Petri dishes Ø35mm, Ø60mm and Ø90mm
- MEDIAJET Vario with biplate option, which enables the filling of Ø90mm double compartment Petri dishes
