Cell culture
We offer cell culture media, specialty media and reagents from EuroClone and Lonza, serum for cell growth from Euroclone, and growth factors and cytokines from Qkine.
Mycoplasma is a common but often undetected contaminant in cell culture labs, impacting cellular functions and experimental reliability. Regular testing is crucial, and Lonza’s MycoAlert™ Mycoplasma Detection Kit offers a fast, easy, and reliable solution.
The range of consumables for cell culturing is enormous. We supply Greiner bio-one products, offering everything from standard cell culture products such as flasks, plates, tubes, cell scrapers and serological pipettes to specialized products such as 3D cell culture, cryoproducts for biobanking and plates for luminescence / fluorescence. For more information about our consumables for cell culture see here.

Cell culture media
Cell culture medium (classical media / standard medium) is a variant of liquid media that provides nutrients for cell growth. The selection is large, and we offer amongst others several versions of DMEM, RPMI-1640, MEM, EMEM, IMDM, Hams F12, and L-15 medium.
We also offer reagents like DPBS, L-Glutamine, Penicillin-Streptomycin and trypsin.

Specialty media and serum-free media
Serum-free media are used for producing monoclonal antibodies, viral antigens, and recombinant proteins in mammalian and invertebrate cell lines.
Lonza’s BulletKits provide specialized media with basal nutrients and growth factor supplements to support specific cell types.

Growth factors and cytokines
Qkine is a leading manufacturer of highly purified, animal-free growth factors, cytokines, and bioactive proteins. These products are essential for research in stem cell culture, organoids, regenerative medicine, and cultivated meat.

Serum
High quality fetal bovine serum (FBS) can come from any EU (European Union) and USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) approved countries. Both regulations require that all FBS, regardless of country of origin, must be tested to confirm virus absence.
We also offer other sera than FBS, like newborn calf, horse, chicken, lamb, rabbit, human and more.
