Intelligent power supply

• Timer: Adjustable timer from 1 to 99 minutes with alarm; continuous and pause modes are available.
• Voltage range: Seven fixed output voltages (18, 25, 35, 50, 70, 100 and 135 V). Peak voltage is held at 140 V and the output level is controlled by pulsing.
• Easy operation: Simple front panel with “Timer”, “Voltage Selector” and “Run/Pause/Stop” buttons for quick set‑up and control.
• Current control: Instead of shutting down when the maximum current is reached, the system automatically reduces the voltage to keep current at or below the peak value, enabling uninterrupted operation.
• Memory function: The last used voltage and timer settings are automatically stored and recalled, including after pauses.
• Worldwide use: Wide‑range input voltage (100–240 V) allows operation in most countries; mains cable type varies by region.

Safe design

• Robust, ergonomic lid that can be opened and removed with one hand for convenient access.
• Integrated water guide prevents buffer from dripping directly when the lid is opened and improves drainage during washing.
• Lid‑to‑power interlock: the unit cannot run when the cover is removed, enhancing user safety.

Convenient to use

• Flexible gel formats: Multiple gel sizes can be cast in the supplied trays. Combs are easy to change, and the tank can be cleaned efficiently thanks to the detachable power module.
• High sample throughput: Up to 104 samples (96 samples + 8 markers) can be loaded with a multichannel pipette onto a 130 × 122 mm gel.
• Backwards compatible: Can be used together with gel casting sets from previous Mupid® models; casting components are heat resistant.
• Up to 100 ml gel solution can be poured into the gel tray to speed up casting.
• Used gel trays can be cleaned quickly with boiling water.
• Buffer drains at two corners make it easy to remove buffer after a run.
• The electrophoresis cell can be separated from the power supply for thorough washing.
